Billing goes through the App Store only. Cancel anytime in iOS Settings → Subscriptions — no emails, no retention hoops. Prices in the app are always shown in your local currency.

No account. No analytics. Nothing sold.
Those are permanent commitments, not a description of one version. Throughline is local-first: your iPhone holds the real copy of your data.
Version 1.0 makes no network requests at all — it works entirely offline. Optional iCloud sync and an opt-in AI step-breakdown are planned for later; both will be off until you turn them on, and the privacy policy is updated before either ships.
